Whilst the whole world seems to have suddenly woken up to the way we treat the environment, I’ve always thought it took the wedding industry a little too long to get on board. Unfortunately, balloons, plastic cutlery and straws and other single-use plastics are still a common occurrence in modern-day weddings.
Though with more and more environmentally friendly options becoming available and with raised awareness of existing environmental damage through the media, more and more wedding suppliers are taking in upon themselves to only offer fabulous, sustainable options to brides and grooms. Not only will these options not forever clog up our oceans and kill wildlife in the process, but they often work out a lot cheaper for couples too. Win-win!
Festival wedding inspiration from environmentally-friendly suppliers
This creative bunch of wedding suppliers planned this creative styled shoot to show just how beautiful a guilt-free eco wedding can be!
The Environmentally-Friendly Wedding Venue – Tournerbury Estate
This blank Canvas and eco-friendly wedding venue based on the Hampshire / West Sussex border is a great choice for a couple looking to put their own stamp on their big day. With its breathtaking backdrops and 50 acres of beautiful woodland, Tournerbury would perfectly suit an English garden wedding, relaxed marquee celebration, or festival themed wedding day.
Environmentally friendly hair and makeup
Eco-conscious hair and makeup artist Natasha Wiggins chose a natural look for this bride (model – Rebecca Dyer). A soft half up, half down look for hair, accompanied by dark eyes and a nude lip colour enhanced this stunning model’s natural beauty, whilst transforming her into a gorgeous wedding-ready bride.

The bell tents were courtesy of Tee and Toast Glamping who will transform your outdoor venue into a dreamy, personal glamping village. An absolute necessity for your festival wedding where all your guests can enjoy sleeping in complete luxury., whilst not taking anything away from that fun, camping feel of a vibrant festival wedding.
