Personalised My M&M’s® for your wedding day!
Like regular, deliciously moreish M&M’s – but with your name and photo on (Or whatever else you want printed on them). Now you’re interested aren’t you?
How fun are these for your personalising your wedding and adding a touch of tasty creativity? Here are a few ideas for how to use your own personalised My M&M’s® in your wedding details:
Personalised My M&M’s® as wedding favours
These delightful chocolates look fantastic as wedding favours in little organza bags or tiny jars. Depending on how many you put in each bag, you could easily create 100 wedding favours out of a 1.5kg bag of My M&M’s®. That means, you could order a bag of My M&M’s®, grab some wedding favour bags/jars/boxes which are usually no more than a couple of £s when bought in bulk, then make up 100 or so favours, meaning each favour cost you less than £1!
Personalised My M&M’s® as centrepieces / table decor
Ditch the over-used scatter crystals and opt for these tasty treats instead. Plus, there will be no tidying up to do for the venue dresser, they will almost certainly all be gone by the end of the night. I couldn’t even play around with my wedding DIY idea, without tiny My M&M’s® swipers appearing every few minutes!
Personalised My M&M’s® for wedding sweet / dessert tables
Wedding sweet and dessert tables are hugely popular right now. They can look beautiful, but if you’re lucky enough to attend lots of weddings, the sweets can be a little repetitive.
Not if you’ve got My M&M’s® with your photo on! You could also add your wedding date for another personalised touch.
Sooo, once you’ve made your unique wedding favours, scattered them on your tables, or created a unique dessert table display using your personalised My M&M’s®, what you going to do with the remaining ones? (If you’ve not yet devoured them)?
Make this super pretty wedding day memories box frame!
Lets face it, with a bag that size, it will be hard to use them all up, so keep hold of a few and turn them into a long-lasting memory of your wedding day. It will be a real conversation starter for guests who spot your creative wall art.
It’s incredibly easy to get My M&M’s® with your name on! Go to My M&M’s®, choose your colours and design, place your order and voila! 1.5 kg of My M&M’s® are making their way to you.

Personalised My M&M’s® DIY box frame
Now that you know how to get your own personalised My M&M’s®, let’s crack on with how to make your own wedding memories box frame.
To make a box frame similar to mine, You will need:
- A box frame
- Personalised My M&M’s®
- One or 2 Wedding Photos
- An invitation/order of service or other wedding stationery
- A button-hole
- A wedding favour
- A piece of jewellery from your wedding day
- A garter
The beauty of these wedding day memories box frames, is that you can use absolutely anything. The list above shows what I’ve used, but you could add your veil, jewellery, some confetti, Groom’s cravat, wedding breakfast menu, literally any items that you have left over.
Play around with your layout
Start by playing around with the wedding details and accessories that you’re using. Add interest by using some ribbon or backing paper, then just keep trying different layouts until you find one that you’re happy with.
Don’t be afraid to overlap things or play around with contrasting angles.
Top tip! Before securing anything, use a ruler to make sure you’re properly lined up your chosen accessories.
Stick stick stick
Once you’re 100% happy with your layout, you’re ready to start sticking.
I used a mixture of sticky 3D pads, pins and a hot glue gun. The hot glue was very effective at securing the My M&M’s® and buttonhole in place. For the garter, bracelet or any other heavy / expensive items that you have chosen, pins secure them very effectively, without having to use glue. I used Pritt stick to glue the photos and backing ribbon straight into the frame, whereas the invitation looked great slightly raised using the 3D sticky pads. They’re very easy to work with too – no mess!
It’s so simply and yet, it looks so effective. Whilst playing around with my design, I also tried spelling out mine and my husband’s initials using the personalised My M&M’s®. This also looked great, so have a go with a few different lettering and layout ideas. You’ll know when you’ve got one that will look great on your wall, whilst reminding you about all those special, personal touches from your big day!
